What a crock of crapola!
Sure, if the suggestions are in line with Wagglepoop think then they will eventually be implemented and the poppers will be convinced that they helped create and bring about a DYNAMIC change. :asshat2:
Those that don't fit the criteria of constructive criticism in the eyes of KaRay will be designated to 'poof-land' . But if their suggestions fall on deaf ears... I hope they don't turn the rejection onto themselves and take the attitude that they were misguided and that WP knows best.

Hello Members,
Shortly, we will be introducing the We The People program as scheduled.
We The People is intended to provide and allow membership a direct "voice" in the ways and directions that Wagglepop should grow and evolve, or in concerns that affect membership.
While we have the program almost fully formed at this time, we would like some input from membership prior to finalization about what you think of or expect when you hear the program name and stated purpose, as above.
We would like not only the program to be reflective of membership, but the creation of it as well
Any and all input is appreciated, and we thank you in advance for your interest and participation.

We agree entirely with that assessment of the participation dynamic.
We The People is designed to give membership a direct "input" into many of the decisions that must be made concerning a variety of site elements and policies moving forward, but the results of that input will only be used as a gauge to measure a specific consideration.
As an example, if we as a company make a decision that we think should have some additional input before implementation, we will ask for membership thoughts through an official We The People poll.
The results of that poll will help us to make the final decision, but not make it entirely.
It's about the "process of participation" rather than a participatory election or vote with direct correlation to the final action.

And a final rah rah:
Quote:Hello Members,
Based on what is being posted in this thread, we feel the program as currently designed and awaiting rollout will be a very good fit and philosophical match.
As we have said many times before, we think our single greatest resource is the "voice" of our membership, and We The People is going to act on that dynamic for the benefit of all
