Quote:a list of 8634 item numbers
It's hard to be impressed by a site wide total of 8,634 monthly sales when you see individual sellers elsewhere like Everydaysource (27,000 feedback in the past month on eBay--close to 100,000 combined feedback on their 4 eBay IDs in the past month alone) or TT's valleygirl who ships over 5000 orders monthly from her website.
8,634 (low priced) sales split amoong 10,000 plus members isn't enough sales to make me want to open a store, or even consider WP as an alternative (to Bidville). I need to eat and pay my bills.

Miranda, I thought I'd add my opinion here. If I am stepping over the line, just let me know and I'll keep my opinions to myself. When I am looking for clothes, I like it when the seller lists the sizes in the title. That way I have more time to shop for the size I want/need, and less time having to click to open items to see if it is the right size. Quite frequently, I will skip over a listing if it doesn't have a size (unless it is something I really want).

Not stepping over the line. I really appreciate the feedback. For now, I have gone in and changed all the listings in that category to include sizes in the titles. The rest will likely be finished tomorrow. I'm kinda burnt out out. Plus Shark is on tonight!!!

Wow, that means that my growth potential is dynamically infinite !!!!
You guys are the bestest people in the whole world. Thanks for the karma points
Truth, and alskling I believe we were all hit by the same karma gremlin. I am going to go give everybody a karma point. I didn't respond earlier because I was at work.
Fine, making buttloads of money is tempting, but sometimes being happy, and passionate about what you do is more important. I also believe when you do what you love the money shows up. You are willing to go above and beyond and work harder when you do what you love. If you have worked for this employer before I guess what you need to consider is were you happy then, and what led to the burnout. It is hard because a job does equal security, in the sense that you get a steady paycheck. Selling online is unpredictable, but it also offers independence, and a chance to really be creative.
Bottom line, go with your heart, don't stay too long in your head or you risk overanalyzing it. You already have the answer, just listen to your intuition.
Thanks chiquita,
I'll sleep on it. No rash decisions yet.

It will work itself out. Ideally working PT and still having time to sell online is what currently works for me. I am trying to come up with a way to apply my skills/training in my profession and turn that into a business, both online and offline. I just need to tie it all together.
:blinkie:
FT4U, as others have said, it will work itself out and the right choice will become apparent... (I know, not a lot of hard advice here, but then, I have had the same conundrum off and on over the years).

Shark is the best. Then CSI. Then CSI: New York. Not a fan of CSI Miami. I like Cold Case real well, too, but don't make it a point to see anything except Shark. I live to see Shark on Thursdays!!!
Another problem with wagglepop that hasn't been discussed. I don't know if this is a glitch, or something that is meant to happen. It seems like it is in their best interest for this glitch to remain, lol.
It will not let you end items! I have been trying to end items for several days, and I keep getting error messages, saying I am not the seller of this item. It just took me 20 minutes of logging out and logging back in to convince this stupid system that I was the seller of one item to end! If it takes me 20 minutes to end one item, can you imagine how long it will take me to end all of my items to close my store? :twistedevil:
