Down 30 stores in one day.
That's a pretty high NPP (Non-Paying Popper) rate! :blinkie:

The day isn't over yet but that is a loss of 8.33% of the stores that were there.

And what a convenient way for KaRay to bury some of his ghost stores that have been mentioned here. I'm still checking but so far I've found 20 stores that are now closed. Only a few of them had an item or two currently listed, most showed 0 inventory. All of them showed 4 or under items listed at some point over the last few months. He doesn't dare use them again.
Remember Sweet Celebrations, City Maxx, just to name a couple? Gone. Remember the store always at the bottom YCG Computers. It shot up to 30+ items a week ago and now it too is closed. If this store was legit and decided to start stocking up after months of carrying only 1 item, would they seriously, all of a sudden, stop paying their 9.95?
Poppers is this genuinely an individual that even knows what trust or truth means??

eBid's US store count has risen from 680 to 1,005 and their UK store count has gone from 3,200 to 3,793 during the same period that WP's store count has dropped from 939 to 330.
Lessons Ray should learn from this:
2. your fees are too high in comparison to other 2nd tier venues
1. bullsh.it might produce short term gains but it gets you nowhere in the long run when you can't deliver on your promises.
Hope this helps.

Interesting how Ray's NPN (non-paying Popper) rate is over 67%. As a 8-1/2 yr. veteran of on-line sales, my NPB rate is less than 1%. And I don't even ask for a buyer's personal identifying information and require phone verification before purchasing.
Hey, Ray
Don't worry, Ray. There'll be a small percentage of followers who will blindly follow you into the abyss, because they have no concept of self-direction or self-definition and base their self-worth and identity solely on your perceptions and direction.
Fine ~ that must have been horrible! I guess for those of us that aren't inclined towards that type of 'following' it's really difficult to imagine NOT being able to see the truth for what it is. It really is a sad thing and like you, I get more discouraged every time I visit the WP boards. Still lots of cheering and they seem to really believe in their "cause".
Rat ~ LOL.... at least you have it installed. Sorry, I know nothing about B2 or I'd try to offer a hand.
And as far as the store count, I thought D-Day was the 19th? Oh wait, I forgot. They're so busy with the dynamic marketing campaign they must not have had time. So many forums to spam, So little time....
I found this post today and you will agree it is VERY interesting. E-pet has been a one item wonder for 6 months.

IÂ’m new to Wagglepop (yesterday) August 19,2006. I think this can be a good place for those of us that have been selling on eBay too move to. My store on eBay has over twelve thousand positive feedbacks. I have a 100% feedback rating. I am a powerseller and have a featured store. Currently I have just over three thousand listings there. Because of the listing and seller fees increases I think thousands of eBay Power Sellers are moving away from there. Look out Wagglepop.com here comes E-Pet Products.
There isnÂ’t any way to know how Wagglepop is going do but IÂ’m jumping on board. IÂ’ve decided over the next few weeks to list up to five thousand pet related items here. I hope this will be a good decision. I will also be listing thousands of non-pet related items.
These questions go to the administrators of Wagglepop. What is the best, legal and correct way to let my thousands of eBay buyers know I can be found here? I only listed one item yesterday just to check it out. It worked great. Listing one item at a time will take a long time. I understand there is a bulk listing method coming. When will it be ready and how will it work?
To my fellow newbie WP sellers. Good luck to all of us and good luck to Wagglepop

E-Pet Products
These reportedly thousands of listings were never made. And we are to believe that this store has been faithfully paying 9.95 a month since August for a blinking bag of bird seed!! I don't think so...
Oh, and their eBay store is still going strong:

As well as their own website:

Here is the perfect example of a store that Ray has made a deal with to keep them in his stable, not charging them to occupy a stall!!!
Now that the culling of the herd has been completed of all those nasty delinquents , KaRay is already switching on ghost stores. Here's one being activated as I type.

It has been a while since he has used this one. It could be on it's last hurrah. Notice all items are store listings - harder to find with SEO. He has learned though to re-activate the listings with new listing numbers instead of relisting from the original ones. A poorly disguised attempt to add legitimacy to his pet projects.
BTW scoop, I mentioned Ginny to you, and her store mysteriously closed today. Are we to believe she has paid 9.95 a month up until now to keep an empty store alive? And this month she was delinquent? Were you able to successfully get in touch with Ginny for her side of the story?
