What is it? Move your Store Inventory format listings to Auction format* on May 28, 2006 and you will receive a credit to your account for the full value of your Auction format insertion fees. This is a one-time-only offer.

When is it? Starts Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 00:00:01 EDT (12:00 AM plus one second on May 28, 2006) and ends that same day Sunday, May 28, 2006 23:59:59 EDT (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds). Please note the reduced fees for this promotion will not be immediately reflected on the site. You will see a credit to your seller's account by July 15, 2006.

Who is included? This promotion is open to Canadian resident users who move their eligible Store Inventory format listings to Auction format during the promotional period on eBay.ca, eBay.com or eBay Motors.

What is excluded? Store Inventory format listings that are moved to Fixed Price format, Store Inventory format listings that are moved to Auction format listings with the Buy It Now feature upgrade, New Store Inventory format listings that have not been moved to Auction format per the stipulated promotion deadline, Motors vehicles, Business and Industrial Capital Equipment, and Real Estate Ad Format listings will not be included in this promotion.

Store Inventory format listings that are created after 2:00 p.m. EDT on May 27, 2006 that are moved to Auction format will not be eligible for the full insertion fee credit.

The promotional rate also does not apply to listings moved from Store Inventory to Auction format during the promotion May 28, 2006, but scheduled to start after the promotion ends.

*Auction format listings with the Buy It Now feature upgrade will not be eligible for this promotion.

I didn't notice before--this credit is July 15th and the one for the 10 cent listing day is July 9th.  :Smile

A combination of beefing up their revenue numbers and panic.  Removing store items from the main search hasn't helped the auction counts.  11.9 million auctions today which is about the same as Memorial Day weekend 2004.
Well, according to medved, it doesn't quite look like eBay got the response it hoped for with its TWO Canadian listing specials today.

I predict a dot com listing sale on Tuesday, May 30th.
