In another twist, the destination shopping site is attracting consumers by sharing a percentage of the fee it receives from its merchants for sales directly back to shoppers in the form of cash.

Approximately 1,000 merchants and manufacturers are participating in the beta version of the engine that launched this week, with an offering representing more than 5 million products in dozens of product categories. The Jellyfish web site: http://www.jellyfish.com/
Now I like the idea of pay per sale, not per click-through
but still with you having to insert some tracking "code"
in your website pages.
How do you KNOW the Jellyfish.com team does
not have a way to manipulate
the sales coming from their landing page to your site to
favor ALL OF A SUDDEN that so many of your buyers are
coming to you from the  Jellyfish.com site,
so they "naturally" get a commission on those sales.  :Smile

Call me cynical but it just looks like a new twist on an old
middle man with a hand out scam.

Just like "affiliate programs" where you get paid if someone
clicks on the AD from your site and "buys" the product from the manufacturer.

Who's to say they are actually telling you the truth
about the sales their AD placed on your site...
have generated?
