Quote:Dear Bidchaser Merchant,

We will soon be sending an email to our entire membership and making a public statement announcing the release of our enhanced
online store products.  We would like you, our Bidchaser Merchant, to have a sneak preview of our new stores and web site before
they are released to the public.

The Bidchaser staff will be on hand this Friday, June 30th, during the transition. Our plans include:

1)      Releasing the new Bidchaser stores under the domain name of . . .

          QSHOPNOW.COM

2)      Moving a copy of your current store inventory from Bidchaser stores to the new QSHOPNOW.com stores at no cost or effort on
your part..

3)      GEARup members will have all their benefits honored and transferred to their new QSHOPNOW.com basic store.

The QSHOPNOW.com web site will support store inventory only.  We will suspend the auction format from Bidchaser properties
temporarily and concentrate on marketing and exposing your fixed-price inventory.  Effective June 30, 2006, the listing forms on the
Bidchaser site will be disabled, making way for the fixed price venue on QSHOPNOW.com.

The Bidchaser.com web site will remain open and active, but its main purpose will change.  We plan to slowly morph Bidchaser, com
into a portal that showcases the properties and services powered by Bidchaser technology.  All auctions open as of June 30, 2006 will
be allowed to run their course, but will not be re-listed or extended.  We'll be glad to move these items to your QSHOPNOW store

We look forward to your comments and suggestions as you explore and get used to our new online store.  Please mail them to our
transition manager, Tejal Shah, at tejal@bidchaser.com.

With sincere thanks,

Leo Cunha
Webmaster, Bidchaser.com
Not a single comment by any member on BidChaser's boards about the end of auctions.  In fact, the last time a member posted about any topic on BidChaser's boards was 14 days ago. Not a good sign. Smile
Perhaps the members have finally realized that these guys jump from one project, to another, to another without any one of the projects being complete/functioning properly. There seems to be a real lack of focus. With Bidchaser not really functioning properly much of the time, why would the members think the new site would be any better? As a matter of fact, this new site will have the same growing pains as Bidchaser or any other new site, right? Members already know how problems are handled by the Bidchaser crew.

Comments on the Bidchaser boards also came to a near standstill after two longtime members "had words". One member was always interjecting his opinion as if he were a Bidchaser staff member, and saying problems were fixed when they were not. This really upset another member when she was having problems with her listings. This dude was saying (on the boards) that the problem was fixed and how great the Bidchaser crew was for fixing it. It was quite a scene.  Icon_blackeye
