Quote:Dear Amazon.com Sellers,
Beginning August 1, 2006, Amazon.com will allow only a small list of pre-approved sellers to create video game bundles--that is, sets of video game products that are sold together, such as the Xbox 360 Core Bundle with 2 Controllers and 2 Games or the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Bundle 5 Games listing. Those sellers who have been pre-approved to list bundles in the Video Games store have already been notified.
We are reducing the number of sellers who can create bundles based on feedback from customers, to improve the customer experience, and increase product discovery within the Video Game category.
As part of this process, please note the following:
All sellers will still be able to create inventory listings against any video game bundle created by the pre-approved sellers, but these listings must accurately match the original bundle description. Please see the Community Rules in our Help pages for more information.
Any bundles created by unapproved sellers, either in the past or going forward, will be removed from the site.
All pages for bundles which are created by pre-approved sellers will be reviewed for accuracy and relevance and may be removed without notice.
