There was support from several members for Nominet to have the ability to run other Internet registry services.  It was commented that it would have been good to have seen Nominet able to bid to run the .eu registry.  Several members felt that Nominet should be able to bid for UK ENUM.  Members recognised that with the current constitution Nominet is unable to bid for any of these registry services whilst companies such as Verisign and Afilias are able to forge ahead running services for other territories and gTLDs, gaining experience and knowledge all the while.

Selling other gTLDs (.com, .eu)
There was broad support for Nominet being able to sell other gTLDs such as .com, .eu and .org.  and the idea of Nominet being a sole supplier for all an organisation's domain names met with some agreement, as it was felt that this would enable simplified management of accounts, simplified technical interfaces, and an easier working relationship with one key supplier of domain names...
