I tired to upload my animated gif for my avatar, and it's stuck on the first frame. Are animated gifs converted when they are uploaded?

Avatar images are resized to a maximum of 90x90 and converted to .png when they're uploaded.

OK - guess I'll be changing that soon so that people don't think I'm trying to be rude. Mrgreen
