We are pleased to announce that PayPal has expanded. More markets and more currencies are now available when you buy and sell using PayPal as your online payment method. There are now a total of 103 markets and 17 currencies to help you to trade more efficiently and securely around the world or in your own neighborhood.

New Currencies

Now, you can pay, send, receive and hold funds in 17 worldwide currencies. The new currencies are the Singapore Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, New Zealand Dollar, Swedish Krona, Swiss Franc, Danish Krone, Norwegian Krone, Czech Koruna, Hungarian Forint, and Polish Zloty. These new currencies add to those already available to PayPal users, including US Dollars, Australian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, Canadian Dollars, Japanese Yen and *Chinese RMB.

New Markets
Additionally, we are pleased to announce the launch of PayPal in 48 new markets, including countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, and Jordan. Residents in 48 the new markets can now sign up and use PayPal to send money online locally or globally, providing you access to even more buyers, especially if you’re selling items internationally.
