TulipDomains Wrote:Ausregistry have implemented a new .au delete policy time frame,
This will simplify the previously confusing system they previously had.

Purging of .au domains will be for
Domain Expiry - 30 days from expiry day
Policy deletes – 14 days from date of policy delete
Registrant initiated deletes – 3 days from date of delete

All domains that are eligible to be purged from the registry will be purged once each day,
This is for deleted domains and expired domains

The purge process will occur on the next business day (UTC), from the time the domain becomes eligible to be purged,
Between the hours 00:30 UTC and 07:00 UTC (ie 10:30 to 17:00 AEST)

UTC: Coordinated Universal Time,
AEST: Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC +10 hours)
Business day: any day not a weekend or public holiday as stipulated by the Victorian government
