Quote:**Now Available: More Ways to Get Verified With PayPal***
Hi I'm Bill Onderdonk with some more news from PayPal. Many of you are familiar with the benefits of being verified by PayPal. Being verified eliminates the sending limits on an account, plus the additional screening improves the security of the PayPal network.
Historically, members who wanted to be verified had to add a bank account, and then confirm that bank account through a random deposit process that takes 2-3 business days. We have a couple additional options now that I'd like to share with you:
Get approved for the PayPal Plus Credit Card
Beginning this month, if your application for the PayPal Plus credit card is approved, your account will automatically be verified on PayPal. This option is faster, plus it eliminates the bank account requirement, which has been a barrier for some members.
Automatic Bank Authentication
If you have online access to your banking institution, you have an opportunity to confirm your bank account in seconds. By sharing your bank login and password with PayPal via the Get Verified page, PayPal can automatically authenticate your access with the banking site. It takes only a few moments to confirm your bank account, which verifies your PayPal account. Automated authentication is becoming more common online, and it is a fast, convenient way to verify your account. (Note: PayPal does not store your login details for future use, and we will NEVER ask you for this information in an email.)
