Quote: Your new Storefront

Dear Amazon Sellers,

We are pleased to announce that your new Storefront, exclusively featuring your Marketplace listings, is now live.

This process of migrating your products from appearing in zShops to appearing in the Marketplace is the first of many initiatives we are implementing to improve your selling experience and success on Amazon.com. As you may know, we are already working with several sellers in a pilot program to eliminate the UPC requirement for the Music, Video, and DVD product categories. If this program is successful, it will benefit the entire selling community in the near future.

We are thinking of other improvements to make to the new Storefront, and your feedback is appreciated. Please send an e-mail with your suggestions to new-storefront-feedback@amazon.com.

Here are a few things to review on your new Storefront:

Your seller information:
Make sure that your seller information is updated. Review and update your information set in Your Seller Account > Edit Marketplace Seller Profile and Your Seller Account > Edit Your Selling Preferences. For example, if you have not already done so, you can change the name of your Storefront by setting your Business Name. If no Business Name is set in your Marketplace Seller Profile, your seller nickname will appear as the name of your Storefront.

Your logo:
For Pro Merchants, make sure that your logo is displayed in your new Storefront. If you do not see your logo displayed, you can upload your logo by going to Your Seller Account > Edit Marketplace Seller Profile >  Logo: Upload Now.

Reminder to zShops sellers:

zShops sellers:
Your zShops listings are now no longer viewable by buyers on Amazon.com; however, you can still access them until December 5, 2006. Log into your Seller Account, and click View your inventory for sale > zShops : Open if you have yet to relist them in Marketplace. If you still have open listings in your zShops, please be sure to move them into your Marketplace listings before December 5, 2006.
