I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer.
1. If I were to register a GREAT domain name as a .net or .biz, would that be a wise move or should I stick with .coms? WHy or why not?
2. Would it be wise to set up a blog on my own site as say, Bling.info? This is as opposed to a blog on one of the popular blog sites. Why or why not?
Most people type .com first when they're looking for a website.
The value of the domain name depends on the name and other factors. There are some .com names that are worth $10 while some .net names are worth $100,000, and vice versa.
I'd setup the blog on your own site instead of using a 3rd party blog.
Thanks, Amy! I may pm you with a couple of names to get your opinion.

Yes, I am, but it's so much fun to say "I told you so!"
OK I know this one:
.com is .com .biz is .biz .net is .net and well yep .info is .info.
Sorry I couldn't resist.

I just registered the domain name (with TH) "badabling.info" for my blog. What do ya think?
Edited to add:
Hey,
I'm only about 100 posts away from being called "lawnmower mouth".

Sounds good to me. Now you'll have to actually DO a blog.
As for the lawnmower mouth, we already knew you were one.
(At least you aren't the ONLY one.
