If he pays me a consulting fee I'd be more than willing to provide feedback Smile

Free advice: if you're going to be marketing your site to US users I'd strongly suggest removing the "Casino" link, or redirecting US based IP addresses to a page that doesn't contain it because online gambling is illegal in the US (federal law) and linking to online gambling sites is illegal in Washington state (state law).

I noticed that, too, among other "questionable" links. This guy's an idiot. He hasn't a clue what he's doing, and if he doesn't shut himself down the Federales will end up doing it for him.

Notworthy ^-^

He is too arrogant/ignorant to really hear anyone else, even if he is paying for the advice.

The site is destined to fail, imo. If only because of the owner's disposition and ignorance. Any advice given will not lessen the likelihood of ignonimous failure. Smile
This is a post to apologise for my postings earlier in this thread, I realise how the postings I personally made were taken for being branded a sexist. I assure you all this was not a comment aimed at any gender but was a take on my personal humour that I thought would be received with a level of humour.
I apologise as I did after the initial comment to the TT comunity and to the person it was aimed at.
To answer the question of if i was Ebay seller "trustedauctions" and trustedauctions1" I can 100% say I have never gone by any of these IDs in the past.
The casino site sign up is done through another company and should not allow any U.S based user to sign up and gamble, however they are free to play the "for fun" games.
I am by no means ignorant, arrogant or sexist and really don't want to come across in that manner as this does not reflect my person at all.
I do really value the feedback made though this thread that is made by the people the site intended for.

Now this is an idea made to recently and I'd like to here some suggestions on how it could work.
The suggestion was that all the free to list auction sites, get together and create one big site.
Now I'm not sure on how this could work so I'd like to hear your suggestions.
What I'd need is how it might work, how you want it to work, what kind of things you would like to see with in the site, and what kind of price should be applied to make it affordable for you.

One word as to why it wouldn't work: Egos.

The only feature I care about when choosing a venue is buyers.

:ditto: to both points.
I was thinking the same thing about the egos thing, and i've been thinking of a way to get round that. How about  if there was a company policy that if any change is suggested by a member of management or directors etc, it would need to be put to the vote of the registered users of the site.
So it would give you the power to say yes or no to anything that site wants to do, too many sites make changes that don't help its users such as a rise in fees, changes to the layout etc, this way it lets you control the site as much as the people who own it.
As for the buyers, you can't have buyers without sellers, something has to be on sale before anyone buys it, its as simple as that.
Another one bites the dust.  Smileyviolin
