An auction site putting paid listings on search results pages is not unheard of - and in fact, it's already being done. Yahoo Auctions tested the approach in January using its Yahoo Search Marketing ad network

If you thought there was an uproar after last year's fee increase, just wait until they try this.  Laughing7

If the short term gain is there they will do it - and those who cannot afford to pay will drop off.  But isn't this sorta what "featured items" are?

Hey - where does it say the little guy should get a wide market for his wares? Why should the big guys share - their whole purpose is to push the weaker sellers out.

So much for "free" enterprise.
