30 March 2007 | 04:54PM EST
Soon we will be launching an exciting new category on eBay.com.au called Services.
eBay Services will be an easier way for service providers to reach eBays five million members, and for buyers to find even more of what theyre looking for on eBay.
Why its good for buyers:
* Widens the range of what you can access on eBay
* Provides visibility of the transaction history of service providers
* Consolidates existing service listings into one major category and associated sub-categories
Why its good for sellers:
* Expands the range of what you can offer buyers e.g. services related to the products you currently sell
* Provides an outlet for service providers to develop a more prominent presence on eBay
* Gives you the choice of how you list your service - i.e. Classified advertisement, Buy It Now, Auction
The Services category will launch around mid April
