Site Design for the Holidays

Your business does a significant amount of business around Mother’s Day/Valentine’s Day/Christmas/Halloween/etc. and you want to make sure your site will look the part. With Magento you will be able to schedule the start and end date of a new design so you can sit back and enjoy the holidays without worrying about uploading files and taking them down in the middle of the night. These changes can be as minimal as a banner on the homepage or as extensive as the entire look-and-feel of the site, down to the buttons.

Your site will appear with the changes for the set time and then revert back to your standard design so you can get ready for the next onslaught of orders.
More vaporware? Puhlease!
After spending a week upgrading my Zen cart (I was not pleasant company during that ordeal) I would hope these guys and girls take heed - your run of the mill store owner does not understand higher level programming and
DOES NOT WANT TO LEARN IT.

Make it customer friendly, SEO friendly and merchant friendly and I will be there.

Mr O - I thought you had to pay for vaporware?
Vaporware is any software (or perhaps hardware) that doesn't exist yet. I agree that things have to and WILL get better than zen cart, but, until it's production-ready, it's just vaporware.

I've been working on my own eCommerce solution for years, but it too is vaporware. :-(
I want Viperware - a cart that will go out and grab the customers quick.

Really, I need something simple to put on my new .mobi selling site. Paypal has a thing where the customer just cuts and pastes the item number into Paypal.mobi and the order is made. I do not know much more about it than that.
Not vaporware...it lives  Big Grin

It has some nice features.

Version 1.0 released a few hours ago.  Toothy9

I've been playing with the beta versions for a few months and I like it much more than Zen Cart.

It's more customer friendly than Zen Cart (especially the all important checkout process).
Does it have templates available? I couldn't find any when I searched ........
