Flaming, over-ripe red persimmons jumble together in this bright, figurative painting. It instantly transforms any personal space (go from functional to FUNKY instantly!).
"Red Persimmons" was done in oil pastel paint on white, acid and lingin-free paper. The oils were applied with generous, lush strokes, giving the ruddy fruit the same waxy shine that fresh persimmons boast.
