Water of Life Original Painting Fish in the Stream
Original art by Ren Adams (that's me!)
One Painting a day Project. Painted on May 26th, 2007
Media: Acrylic Paint
Size: 11" x 14"
Done on white acid free paper.
A pair of detailed perch swim, float, or otherwise coexist with the water of life. They're filled with energy and spirit.
For the fish, I used a centuries-old technique from Japan called gyotaku (fish rubbing). Don't worry, though, I didn't rub fresh perch on the paper. I used a special rubber cast and hand-painted it to produce the pressing.
Signed.
Sold unmounted. I am happy to have the piece mounted or framed for you, for a reasonable fee. Otherwise, it' sold unmounted so you can choose your own personal style.
