Surreal Alien Landscape Magenta on Mars Oil Pastel Painting ORIGINAL
Original oil pastel painting by Ren Adams (that's me!).
Title: Magenta on Mars
9" x 12"
Matted (Mat is 11 x 14), black archival board.
It will easily slip into a frame that can hold an 11 x 14 piece.
The sun looks strange setting on the distant plains of Mars. This odd landscape is ripe with rich, alien colors and lush, layered pastels. Stark cliffs jut out as shadow deepens. The sky is a hazy orange-white; very toxic--yet oddly beautiful.
Done in oil pastels on white archival paper. This is the ORIGINAL piece, not a print-out, copy, or lithograph.
Artwork has been nicely matted with a black 11 x 14 mat and archival backer board.
