Here's the head-scratcher: The ad obviously would have passed through several hands before being ready for publication in the first place. I would say that at least some at Intel were fully aware of the connotations attached to that ad. They would have to be total idiots not to understand how it would be perceived.  :

Additionally, it was not brought to the attention of the public until someone from outside Intel did so. There is no way that not even one Intel employee realized the racist connotations behind this asinine ad!!!
