Quote:edgeio Corporation, based in Palo Alto, California, today announced the launch, in preview, of the worldÂs first distributed Âpaid content platform. The platform allows a content creator  say an analyst, a researcher, a band, a filmmaker, a magazine or newspaper publisher or a web publisher  to distribute their valuable content, and have it sold, onto any web site that wishes to publish it.

The content creator comes to edgeio and tells us about their content and we give them the means of publishing it. Second a publisher, whose main goal is to add revenue to their web site. The publisher comes to edgeio and can choose to become a point of sale for any paid content that they wish to be associated with. Any web site in the world can now become a point of sale for the things they are passionate about.Â
