eBay adds Advanced FAQs for High Volume Sellers

***Introducing Advanced FAQs for High-Volume Sellers*** 

Hi everyone...this is Gui Bastos from eBay's Seller Tools team. For awhile now, sellers have been able to use our basic Frequently Asked Questions feature to help cut down the amount of time they spend answering common questions from their buyers. Now, for sellers who need a more robust solution, I'm happy to introduce a new Advanced FAQs feature that will help your buyers find the answers to their questions more quickly – and reduce the amount of time you need to spend answering email.

We've worked with two 3rd party providers - Hosted Support and Parature - to create the Advanced FAQs feature. For a monthly fee (paid directly to the provider you've chosen), the provider will work with you to develop a comprehensive set of browseable and searchable FAQs and to integrate them into your listings.

When buyers click on the "Ask Seller a Question" link, they'll be able to review and search your FAQs to find the answer to their question (as well as send you an email if they wish). It's a great way to provide answers to buyers while they're making buying decisions – in fact, in a pilot test we ran earlier we found that providing Advanced FAQs had a positive effect on a seller's business.

Any seller is welcome to use these Advanced FAQs, although they will likely be most beneficial for high-volume sellers who require a more comprehensive set of FAQs to answer buyer questions.
