The Etsy community delivered, with 376,539 new items, which is an increase of 20% over the number of new items listed in September. We expect to see over 1,000,000 items for sale on Etsy by Dec 1!

We also saw tremendous growth in shopping in October. We keep a close watch on the number of pages viewed on Etsy.com and there were 162,907,375 page views in October, a 23% increase over September. All the new items and all of that traffic generated sales of 218,455 items (20% increase), representing $2,966,160 worth of goods sold for the month (21% increase).

Perhaps most importantly we had almost 40,000 new buyers register in October.
