eBay is facing multiple challenges as its new CEO, John Donahoe, takes the reins from Meg Whitman. The company is dealing with some sellers drifting away, the growing shadow of Google and the looming presence of Amazon.com and other competitors....

Despite several lingering obstacles, analysts such as Pyykkonen see no end to eBay's momentum as it begins the Donahoe Era. There are more challengers to the throne, but this is one tech titan that rolls along, he says.
