Dept. of Homeland Security Website Hacked, Lobotomized Morons Using Microsoft IIS Servers To Blame
Quote:The sophisticated mass infection that's injecting attack code into hundreds of thousands of reputable web pages is growing and even infiltrated the website of the Department of Homeland Security. full article: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/04/25/...ack_grows/ more: Quote:Websense, which wrote about the mass infection Tuesday, said the attackers perpetrated a similar assault a few weeks ago on news and travel sites. Little is known about the group responsible, except that they're using the nihaorr1.com domain name, which appears on the surface to be registered to someone in Shanghai. full article: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/04/24/...eb_attack/

RE: Dept. of Homeland Security Website Hacked, Lobotomized Morons Using Microsoft IIS Servers To Blame
The problem was caused by lobotomized morons using Windows servers
Quote:A new SQL injection attack aimed at Microsoft IIS web servers has hit some 500,000 websites, including the United Nations, UK Government sites and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. While the attack is not Microsoft's fault, it is unique to the company's IIS server. full article: http://blog.wired.com/monkeybites/2008/0...datab.html |
