Hasn't worked for me - I went to 100% free (USA) shipping when a Noob buyer gave me a neutral for charging all of $2 when the postage was 75 cents - blew out both my FB (now 97.4%, that is the ONLY non-positive) and my stars. Of course I raised prices to cover it, and now multiple lots get no discount.

The free shipping actually helped sales until the "standard" search placement kicked in, I have flatlined on jewelry since then, sold a couple domains.

Looks like I have to wait 'till September before I can get in search again, who knows what they will change before then.
