Weekend at McCain's: Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal says he discussed a number of topics with John McCain over the weekend but not the possibility of being his running mate. "There was never any explicit talk whatsoever about ... any of that," Mr. Jindal said. Other potential VP picks at Mr. McCain's Sedona ranch were former presidential campaign rival Mitt Romney, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist and former eBay CEO Meg Whitman.

Thank God.  :  I think that if McCain and Whitman were to become the winning ticket in November, I would for the first time consider leaving the country.
