SIGTERM shutting down
Hi guys! Bellisima were so kind to help me find this forum I hope I am posting on the right place.

I have a problem with my Apache2 server on Ubuntu server, each morning it says :

[Mon Jun 16 06:25:16 2008] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down

The line before (in the error.log) is just an error that it doesn't find a jpg.

Is there anywhere I can look for further errors?

It runs on an AMD64, Ubuntuserver (10?).

Could you copy the Apache log file lines here.  Also what version of PHP are you using?

Re: SIGTERM shutting down
It could be a permissions problem.  Try changing the ownership of the files to the Apache user.

That's normal.

You could try chown to www-data

Re: SIGTERM shutting down
Sorry for my stupid questions I am just afraid to mess things up.

Is it the /var/www/* files that I should chown (websites) or the apache2-file itself?
