Logo Size and Logo Positioning Survey of the 10 Largest Etailers Websites
Logo Size and Positioning Survey of the 10 Largest (as ranked by Internet Retailer) Ecommerce Retailer's Websites

1. Amazon.com 175 x48, left side of page
2. Staples.com  131 x 73, left
3. OfficeDepot.com, 211 x 42, left
4. Dell.com 85 x 24, left
5. Shopping.HP.com 49 x 50, left
6. OfficeMax.com 217 x 43, left
7.  Apple.com  40 x 40, left
8. Sears.com 87 x 38, left
9.  CDW.com 114 x 57, left
10. NewEgg.com 235 x 68, left

other IR 500 sites

eBay.com 110 x 45, left
Buy.com 160 x 39, left
BHPhotoVideo.com 110 x 68, left
Drugstore.com 271 x 78, left
EHobbies.com 173 x 53, left
Gap.com 62 x 62, left
Macys.com 181 x 70, left
PetSmart.com 260 x 73, left
Wal-mart.com 200 x 55, left
Zales.com 160 x 59, left

The full IR 500 list is here: http://www.internetretailer.com/top500/list.asp .  I'd be willing to bet that almost all of their logo sizes, and the positioning of their logos, are similar to the 20 sites I listed.
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"

"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site.
best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011

You screwed up and listed one site that isn't in the IR 500 because it doesn't sell anything: eBay  Confusedtolensmiley:

The logos of the large Chinese ecommerce sites Dangdang, PaiPai, Joyo (Amazon China), Eachnet, and Taobao follow the same guidelines.  Ditto Korea's Gmarket.
