Feedback Not Being Left

We are having an increase in the number of Sellers indicating that feedback is not being left. This problem is due to another issue.

When an auction and/or order is marked as being shipped, it is not being Archived. And, it is at that point (when an auction gets archived) that it also gets queued up for feedback to be left. The problem we are experiencing is that the second part of that process is not happening (the auction is not being Archived right away).

Until the issue is resolved, as a temporary workaround, we recommend that after you mark an auction/order as shipped (by filling in the Traction option, selecting the "Save Changes" option under Commands, and clicking "Go"), that you re-select the "Save Changes" command, and click "Go" again (with no other steps begin done). This will archive the auction, and queue the auction up for feedback to be left.

We will update this Announcement when the issue has been resolved.

PayPal Redirecting Buyers to Marketworks Homepage

PayPal made a change last night that is affecting the way Buyers use PayPal when going through our ClickOut.

When a Buyer goes through MWarketworks ClickOut and enters that they are paying via PayPal, they are redirected to PayPal. At the very last step of the PayPal process (on PayPal¿s site), there is a "Continue" button that the Buyer clicks, which then redirects them to your ClickOut, which indicates the Order has been paid (known as the Order Confirmation Page).

PayPal is having an issue, where instead of returning the Buyer to the Order Confirmation Page, they are returning the Buyer to the Marketworks Homepage. However, please note that the order IS being marked as paid in our system.

We are working with PayPal to help them resolve the issue. As soon as it has been fixed, we will update this Announcement.

Server issues between 2:30-4:00am ET Friday mornin
g
There were some server issues between 2:30-4:00am ET Friday morning. There is a chance that if you (or a Buyer) were hitting one of the bad servers, the page was timing out. The only two pieces of functionality that this issue affected were Order Management and ClickOut.
We reset all servers at 4:00am, which resolved the issue.

Should you have had any Buyers reporting problems trying to use ClickOut (specifically around the pages timing out) during this time frame, this was most likely the cause. Your Buyers should now be able to proceed through ClickOut without any issues.
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"

"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site.
best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011
