Bidz Q3 Sales Up 38.1% to $55.4 Million, YTD Sales Rise to $172 Million

Quote: Online jewelry retailer and auctioneer Bidz.com Inc. closed the books on a mixed third quarter with sales rising by 38.1% but net income falling by 8.3%.

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, Bidz.com posted net income of $3.3 million on revenue of $55.4 million, compared with net income of $3.6 million on sales of $40.1 million in the prior year.

For the first three quarters of the year, Bidz.com, No. 74 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, recorded net income of $11.5 million on sales of $172.3 million vs. net income of $9.9 million on revenue of $123.9 million in the prior year...
