Why Other Auction Sellers May Be Having Difficulty
Because some auction sellers are idiots?
Because some auction sellers are lacking any business sense?
Because some auction sellers let their short-term emotions determine their long-term business plans?
BECAUSE SOME IDIOT SELLERS DECISIONS TO USE OR NOT USE A SITE  ARE BASED ON THEIR FEELINGS ABOUT OAI FORUM USERS (AND THEIR FORUM POSTS) RATHER THAN BEING BASED ON AN ANALYSIS OF A SITE'S PROS AND CONS

example of idiotic business decision based on emotions Wrote:Talking to yourself now that the cat's out of the bag?

well i for one went over and closed my listings out at bonanzle..NADA .. all gone.. bye bye.. account closed. not that it matters.. no looker, no viewers, no sales

if you have ANYTHING to do with bonanzle (i reallydoubt it) then i want  nothing to do with them. so see you plan is working great. Keep up the  good work.. your PR method is fantastic

Re: Why Other Auction Sellers May Be Having Difficulty
That thread is a freakin' joke. The dullards can't connect the dots. Well. No surprises there. I loosely watched Bonanzle for two years. Late last January I started paying close attention.

Here's a synopsis for the feebs:

The "Heart to Heart" Valentine Promo was an event that brought some high profile folks with big audiences and national name recognition together. This gets people in various industries talking. Not just online. Not a blurb in a magazine that's forgotten when the next one arrives in a couple of weeks, but People who are plugged into multiple medias.

Nancy Rosin is well respected and connected in her field. Making t.v. appearances, writing books, speaking engagements, etc. I wonder how many of the people in her network asked about her latest project last February and heard about Bonanzle?

Arlene Brenner has been plugged into eCommerce (specifically eBay) for ten years and more important, plugged into Silicon valley companies even longer.

When she discusses Bonanzle with her extensive network (lotsa' unhappy ex-eBay employees included) her thoughts and opinions are credible. Her word would be incentive for some to use the site to buy and sell.

You'll also note in this article that that Bonanzle was mentioned in a chat room. In the natural course of conversation, talking about Bonanzle reaches lots of potential buyers. Not sellers. Buyers.

And then there's Alex Berg. Another well credentialed, well connected Bonanzle recruit. He's addressing the buyer experience - and I expect it'll involve more than adding a category or having the Welcome Wagon say 'Howdy' in a forum.

And never mind that Bill opened the site up to developers. Sellers get tools and developers talk about what they're doing in an industry that probably doesn't generally discuss shopping sites in a group setting.

Bonanzle appears to have a lot of invoices so it must be a manipulation and a lie? Why? 'Cause it don't make no sense to the feebs?  Jerk
