Look out ebay there may be a new dog on the block.
eBay is cheering at the moment because people are using google base to promote--eBay : see the links on the first 2 posts for examples: http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?t...1000135812&tstart=0 |

Re: Google Base Beta Goes Live
Heh, heh, I just put most of my comments about Base in a post about Froogle:
http://community.tuliptools.com/index.ph...339.0.html hmmm, what didn't I say in that Froogle post: 1. I think the jury will remain out on Base until Google introduces the Google Automat/AdWords components of it. As it stands now, Base isn't going to make anyone forget Craigslist or eBay because it is as grrrrrll said " a disorganized Craigslist" at this point. Its success will depend on how well the Automat features are received by the mass-market (i.e. will they be perceived as easier to use by the average person than eBay). I do think that the Automat Adwords component will have huge potential, but Base as a stand alone venue to move product at this point offers far less than Craigslist....or even Google's own Froogle. ==========================================

It took under 1 minute to steal the description and photo from one of bargainbloodhound's Yahoo listings and publish it. :twistedevil:
How long did it take to hack into his account?
you can both eat snail snot and choke
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"
"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site. best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011 |
