The Ingredients to Create an eBay Clone: £110.00 , 55 Listings, and a Typo
I normally ignore the 100's of (free) press releases issued by individuals who plunk down £110.00 on PhpProBid auction software and announce themselves as the next eBay, but...  :Smile

Quote:New Ebay clone AuctionBang.Com is now booming with new online auctions.

(PRWEB) December 5, 2005 -- AuctionBnag.Com is proud to announce that the free standard auction program is working like a charm. At the end of November 2005 we were showing over 40 active auctions

full press release: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2005/12/prweb315258.htm

For future reference for all aspiring "eBay Clone" owners: Typos in press releases don't score many points with the media.  This is especially true when the typo is in your web site name.  Proofreading before submitting press releases is recommended at all times.
