Xpp man, I think that one of the things that maybe you're assuming (I guess) is that you and a few others own "exclusive rights" to criticize ebay. It also sounds like it's a totally black and white issue with you. For me it's not, and as far as this poster child thing goes, I'm really not interested. I had hoped to motivate others to make these "testimonial videos" but it looks like that's not going to happen. I have no need or desire to become some sort of YouTube star. My initial reason was to use them to create "tutorials," and then it just so happened that ebay made their fee hike announcement on the very day that I was on a roll with making videos, so I put up some comments about ebay.

I have a life to live here, and I'm not planning on constantly defending myself for something that someone thinks I might have done a few years ago but really has no clue. It gets worse when Bell jumps in who wasn't even around at the time. If you didn't experience wp1, for instance, it's probably impossible to be able to fully describe all of the emotions that were flying all around that site at the time. So even if someone were to dig up a direct quote, it's hard to know if it could be fully understood by someone who wasn't there at the time.
