I have an idea... How about eBay VERIFY members and PayPal VERIFY credit cards??

It wouldn't be fair to the BIN Bandits if they required verification.

The top browser bar shows the name of the different forums.  I hadn't noticed before now that bookmarks defaulted to the forum/page name instead of the site name Smile

I guess I won't be reading that thread.  eBay pulled it.  Sad

Too bad it was deleted  Crybaby2 I wanted to read it again. Here are highlights of today's update in case they do it again--Kim:

"We miss you!!"

Who's the "WE" Bell? I knew that you were the one person who would care if I rotted at that stinking airport!

I am safely back home at Mum's house in my basement apartment. If I am to remain living here I have insisted she get somebody to install a window and some ventilation plus grant me access to the bathroom.

This is an exciting day since it is 10 Cent listing day and I am busy at work posting the remainder of my advertising potholder collection. Going back over my statistics for the last 10 Cent promo I find I had a .005 percent sell-through rate which translates into 5 items sold in 1000 listings. I expect to top that figure this go round and actually make a little over my listing fees this time. Mum's told me she has no plans to loan me any more money to pay ebay fees.

Still, I've only been running an eBay Store since 1999 and they say it takes a while for the sales to start rolling in. I am a patient person.

Please give my regards to any really hot female Power Sellers at eBay Live!

Yours in spirit---FBF

Count me among the many who commiserate with and share the frustations of what eBay did to Frogslovemydaise.

I can't wait to get away from eBay permanently, but unfortunately I need to use it for what it's worth to me right now.

Any of you posing the common newbie question "Should I start an eBay Store" my answer is a firm "No."

I checked the Half.com board yesterday and noticed they seem to be shilling that dead-horse with what I can only IMAGINE are bogus employee posts. eBay Stock was down AGAIN yesterday and the desparation is getting palpable.

Advice to heed if you never listen to another thing I say here: "Do NOT put all your economic eggs in the eBay basket."

I know I read the original post.  I don't remember it saying anything that would get it pulled.  But then I think every day should be open season on eBay.  What was in it that was offensive?

I notice that no one's mentioning gathering folks to go to Ebay Live to watch the tomato throwing and angry shouting.  It would certainly be worth it to attend just to take in the *sights* and *sounds*...  ;D  ...  Ya think?

Tomato throwers would be burned at the stake by the group over at the eBay Live board--none of whom have ever experienced any glitches.  Big Grin
