I thought EE was supposed to be for new buyers and the whole concept was that people could go to EE, buy stuff, and check out without having to go through the hassles of

The first thing they want you to DO is sign UP and be a MEMBER.

Looks to me like they just want to PAD / fake their numbers (more) for the next Q.

I mean really.

Can you imagine going into a store for the first time (B&M or online)
and as soon as you walk in the door and show interest in an item
the store owner runs over and says:
"You got to SIGN UP to be able to purchase something from my store".

What?? Sign up for what???

Hell I just want to "buy" this. Do you need my DNA before I purchase this?
Oh never mind. I'm going down the street where the guy don't ask me to "sign up"
just to buy something.

POINT: (and advise) Don't make your potential customers HAVE TO
"sign up" or log in to shop at your website.

People don't like that. They see it... they want it... they will pay and do the "cart" thing.
No need to sign UP just to try and buy.
