I my post pulled.  Excluding present company, the intelligent and funny posters aren't making much of a come back.  It seemed useless.

Well, perhaps folks are just plain busy.  Or perhaps they just don't want to get into the middle of it.  Either way, it truly sux...like you say. Even tho he meant well, I think ADs really blew it with publicly scolding P4S, as it just started neg carp rolling...just asking to be hit with huge comebacks.....

Myself? I'm trying to figure out a new angle for a really cheapo inexpensively priced art/print/frame store where I can hopefully just move a bunch of widgits.  I'm not feeling very creative right now, so it's slow going.  Think I'll just throw the store open with basic 'stuff' for logos, and a fast page, and get to listing.  My stuff gets picked up really well via keywords, so I'm hoping the price will sell the pieces....

What you guys are seeing is ebay's rah rah squad hard at work.
Anytime momentum swells and negative sediment gains ground
about particular issues or services, this happens.

The feebay evangelists and the paid ones too, are called to task.
It is their mission to help stem the tide, put out the fires and
attempt to create the illusion that all is well.

That's the ebay way. You all know that.

It only works for a short time.
Or "they" think it works anyway.
I can imagine these "evangelists" type posters sending hi five e mails
back and forth celebrating their conceived victory as they see fewer posts
from those who were posting the realities and their feelings about any situation.


These attempts to sway the online ebay community with BS spin
and condescending remarks don't really work.

Behind the scenes I think many who were otherwise posting
their true feelings who stop posting, are working on their alternatives.

I also think the attempted "community" management administered
by the "evangelists" further drives a wedge between the true users and ebay
and creates even more animosity towards ebay and their KOOL AID heads.


Despite ebay's overall "increases" in numbers they report.
The numbers seem to indicate that the loyalty aspect is out the window
as the wedge and the animosity towards ebay continues to rise.

I think that's it in a nutshell. The more I work on mine, the less I bother or even care. Leaving ebay was the best decision I ever made. Leaving the stores board might be a close second. You can only carry the torch for so long before you burn out.

I do go in and post once in while with my selling ID.

Usually ends with a mailbox full of pink slaps.


They really hate me because one of their "own" lost a good job.
She was posting vile remarks and threats on my rant boards.
I did an IP search that lead back to her work computer.

I reported to the network admin and well.... she no longer works there.

She blames me I guess. 

Ironically this same little group always speaks of "personal responsibly"
and knowing what you are agreeing to when using a service.

Hey she didn't have to post all that carp on my forums and guest book.

I guess she didn't READ my UA that SHE "agreed" to
when she hit the "Submit" button on MY site. :blinkie:
