Re: Another Stores Board Post SCREAMING for attention from...
I'm continually surprised, although I don't know why I should be, by the posts that complain about the Stores board being negative. Honestly, compared to some of the other boards on eBay, the Stores board is pretty darn nice. More times than not, the posters offer some fairly intelligent answers, or at least back up their "complaining" posts with good solid facts.
I don't know what some posters expect - sunshine and light answers like "Goodly for you, you sold a pencil today for 10 cents (even though you spent 65 cents in listing fees) - congratulations!" If I were a new store owner, or someone pondering opening a store now, I'd appreciate hearing all sides of the story. As Judge Judy says "don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining"! Patrice |

Patrice,
You don't have to convince ME! None of the regular complainers-rabble rousers attack anyone personally... for the most part! |

Anita, I know ..... I know .... it just gets frustating sometimes. BTW - I liked your response in the JandM thread. The prime problem is the preferential treatment.

Every post should be sunshine, light answers, pats on the back, and cats! eBay is all about fun! Discussing issues that have an impact on our businesses (like eBay policies) and discussing ways to grow our businesses (like "St. Elsewhere") is negative! *insert sarcasm smiley here*
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"
"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site. best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011 |

That sounds more like LieWorld mod pep talk at the meetings. I would only add that they are being directed to show any posters who do NOT follow those simple values when posting to show them the door. I can see it building up already. They (these new undercover posters) are out their circling like sharks waiting and baiting. Soon the attack on the rabble rousers will begin.
