greenzap and legal actions - please read!
for anyone that sent greenzap $; for anyone that was threatened by gz, damon, linda, et.al.; and anyone else that has been following the greenzap, damon westmoreland, linda murphy story -

from what was posted on scam.com, looks like legal action is finally being taken against them.

Some background info:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=gzpn.pk
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/company_...ymbol=GZPN

Quote:The Company also announced that it was clarifying its February 10th press release in which the Company announced it had concluded a recent $2 million round of financing. The Company offered a select group of its Gold Member users the Company's 10% Convertible Debentures, which would convert to restricted stock 12 months from the original purchase date at 50% of the market value. Although the Company has not yet received the funds from investors, it has received indications of interest that would fulfill the maximum offering of $2 million. Each user who expressed interest in investing will receive the Company's private placement memorandum including the audited financials.

Re: greenzap and legal actions - please read!
well, now it appears (from what was posted on scam.com) that there isnt a criminal investigation after all.  ???  Icon_scratch Either way, that thread over there is an interesting roller-coaster of a read

I agree with ya sneakymagenta - i've never understood why anyone falls for any of those MLMs, pyramids, ponzis.  Course, it's kinda like the folks that fall for Nigerian 419 fraud (advance fee fraud); never understood that either.
