eBay Boards Thread: PayPal debit card - Tens of Thousands cards compromised
Quote:Ten days ago, I tried to get cash from my PayPal account from an ATM machine before I went on vacation. The transaction was declined. I thought PayPal was having a minor glitch... http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?t...1000134085&tstart=0 http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?t...1000134086&tstart=0 Compromised--my dictionary defines the word as: security leak, unauthorized access to system, they done got hacked, another PayPal fuckup. on another PayPal fuckup note: more reports that the now 2 1/2 month long problem with PayPal debit card charges reversing continues: http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?t...2000047956&tstart=0 |

Re: eBay Boards Thread: PayPal debit card - Tens of Thousands cards compromised
Mindless public relations robot PayPal Amanda and her legion of nasty personal information posting auction interference practicing posting ID cheerleader trolls seem to be avoiding this one...wonder why?
Quote:The rep replied they couldn't possibly notify the 10,000 - 20,000 cardholders affected. This is ludicrous! If there was a breach and the customers' cards were compromised it is ludicrous that all affected customers were not notified. It seems to be eBay and PayPal company police not to notify all of their customers when there is a serious problem that could cost eBay/PayPal...eBay never sent out a mass email or posted an announcement on its announcements board about the billing problems last year--the only "official" mention was a few pink posts on the eBay message boards which only a tiny portion of eBay sellers ever visit.
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"
"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site. best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011 |
