Quote:I think Firefox will always be far more secure than Internet Explorer.

So far in its short life its had almost as many serious security holes as IE.  I'm really not holding my breath waiting for the developers of either browser to suddenly change their almost decade long pattern of producing flawed browsers (The Mozilla/Netscape/Firefox team has never proven it is capable of this with any of its offerings, and the only thing IE's developers have proven is that they are a hacker's best friend).

The consensus seems to be that almost anything is more secure than Internet Explorer.

Gotta love competition!!! When 95% of the world uses IE, then it breaks....

Man has yet to make an emoticon that expresses the fury!

Firefox, Netscape, Safari, Flock, Frock, Fu...

I don't care. Just give me some options. Competition makes it so one virus only affects a minority of the browsers/operating systems, not 95%!!!!

I really hate to be anti-Microsoft, but it seems like we have to take extreme measures to keep the sheep from following each other over the cliff. I understand why XPpman complains about eBay, but Microsoft is ...
