Quote:I don't think most of those people are aware that there are 100s of similar alternative sites--or even that Amazon offers auctions Edit--comments about how much cheaper WP's fees and store subscriptions were than eBay made me think these people are unaware that Yahoo is totally free or that Overstock's new subscription plans make it very cheap to list there. Edit 2-or that you can list 2.1 million CDs and DVDs as one seller does on Amazon for $39.95 monthly plus FVF. |

WAGGLEPOP.COMSQowLl@privacypost.com
He's using a privacy guard to protect his whois info which is why it's showing up as Washington instead of New York. If you use GoDaddy's privacy guard your info would show as Arizona, etc. This is one case where Ray is innocent. WP's New York address is listed on WP, in the email he sent, and they are a NY LLC. |

The IP 64.202 address Pete and Repeat gave is a GoDaddy mail server (secureserver.net) and isn't WP's IP. WP is hosted at RScript's host ezzi.net in NY
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/lookup.ch?...glepop.com&type=ALL http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/tracert.ch...glepop.com Wagglepop is also using a secure server https://www.wagglepop.com/bin/Auction WP's SSL certificate is good until 12/15/2007 Pete and Repeat should go back to detective school ;D |

Where is the $110 credit listed? I didn't see it on the fees page.
I hope it's not only listed in a post on the boards--you know how posts have a way of vanishing when Ray has his hands on the moderation buttons. EDIT--Oh "credit line" not credit. |

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
How cool. So I can set up an account as Meg Whitman, sell motorcycles that don't exist until I run up a $110 tab at WP. Then I can set up an account as Bill Cobb and sell cell phones that don't exist untl I run up a $110 tab at WP. Maybe then, I'll set up an account as Hairless Chris and sell some authentic *Tiffany* pieces until I run up a $110 tab at WP. :o
