Quote:you cannot open a new account (or at least you couldn't before) with an old user name or use your store name again... so these stores cannot be opening and closing, because the software or Ray whichever doesn't allow it! The upstream providers are responsible for the name problem. :twistedevil: I don't know which is more annoying: eBay blaming every problem on users' failure to clear their caches and reboot, or Ray blaming every problem on upstream providers.

Something interesting about all these closures and reappearances, you cannot open a new account (or at least you couldn't before) with an old user name or use your store name again... so these stores cannot be opening and closing, because the software or Ray whichever doesn't allow it!
I've tracked stores displayed as closed that have come back live. So if KaRay can do it for ghost stores, it should be doable for seller that leave. In the case of Tuscan Hills, it was reported as ''suspended" so that could be the difference but I doubt it.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

Quote:You don't need to know that ebay store items are fed to froogle Some not all eBay store items are listed on Froogle. eBay admitted last year that Google puts a cap on the number of listings it accepts from eBay and not all items are listed. eBay refuses to say what percentage of its listings are actually listed...but its easy to figure out that only a small percentage are listed: Results for site:ebay.com 5,504,651.
291 open 648 closed
Thanks for the update Regic WP as we have known it over the past 10+ months is finished. What you see there now is nothing but lost souls looking for an alternative venue that doesn't exist at this point in time, at least not the way that most want it to be. At this time WP is made up of a few loyalists, many ghost and highjacked stores and sellers trying to find a new venue to put there wares in after the next sales report comes out. WP as a venue as we know it today has failed miserably. WP1 failed within 2 weeks of opening. Will there be a WP3? My theory says yes and that it is being worked on NOW. That is where, if there really is any money for, the so called grand opening 6 month advertising with $75,000 to spend every penny money is being used. Will it still be called wagglepop? My guess is no it won't. I will explain my theory in great detail later today in this thread. Ray you are welcome to attend if you like but you know how this goes don't you Ray. All long haul WP cheerleaders are welcome also, it may be redundent though as you know what is going to happen soon anyway. My guess is you are already beta testing in that new site. To Ray and all his greedy inner circle friends let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |
