Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Rat, it does piff me off when I see them saying that a store closed because the fees were not paid. What a joke.
All of us here were former poppers and we all paid our fees on time. Hell, most of us, including me, even had to pay the famous 9.95 exit fee to close our store and be rid of pophell. At times it is hard to feel sorry for these poppers. How can they be so naieve???? Just because Ray says it's so, doesn't make it so. Only Captain Picard had that right.. MAKE IT SO! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
How can Ray preach to the choir that the WP community is the best, and turn around and basically call the seller body a bunch of deadbeats?
Worse how can the poppers take Ray at his word, and basically play judge and jury against their "community"? River I have to agree, for those who not only refuse to see what is right in front of their eyes, and are punitive against other sellers, it is hard to have any empathy for them. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Sweet, good to see ya! Glad you were able to talk some sense into your friend!
Quote:As far as our store count, it has gone down a little since the last Wagglepop invoice, but, it's from non-paying sellers. The count is 288 stores. Don't get discouraged! Like everyone else, statements like this floor me. Don't get discouraged? Has this popper read the other threads there? Of course, this person has FOUR stores there - I almost can't blame them for trying to keep the 'faith'. Its hard to admit defeat/failure; especially when you've invested so much in the way of time and flushable money. I read this quote this morning (in the same thread): Quote:I WILL DO ANYTHING to drag buyers over here! Now they're willing to DRAG buyers over there. Lol, I really have to wonder at what point these people will face reality. The context of this thread is "Buyer Rewards". Once again, the sellers coming up with marketing ideas while Ka/Ray spills tea on his hamster desk. If Ka/Ray's super-duper SEO site and splendiferous Grand Opening Marketing Blitz were so great (tripling traffic was the prediction) - they should be having conversations about day-to-day efficiency and customer service, not how to drag buyers in. Quote:I know if 70% of my buyers were non-paying, I'd be rethinking the way I do business. Amen to that DB. Or perhaps I'd be thinking I shouldn't BE in business!

Quote:wagglepopCC1 26 Feb 2007 20:58 and this comment today Quote:I WILL DO ANYTHING to drag buyers over here! What is wrong with these people? KaRay flat out lies, and Poppers think it's their problem, make apologies for KaRay, and expect other Poppers to join in the crusade to make up for what KaRay promises, but does not deliver. What kind of behavior is this? Very C*LT-like, and definitely NOT business-like. |
