I'm honestly in shock that the thread is still there. It's deteriorating with every post lol.
Did anyone else notice that KaRay started the Daily Chat thread today - not one of the cheerleaders? I wonder if even some of them are getting sick of the Rah Rah Ray routine. Oooh alliteration. I love it

I'm surprised that it's still there too. The latest post is a seller who says they've been there since Sept. and have had 2 sales and they're not sure how much longer they'll stay.

Ouch!! Someone hasn't learned the 'rules' yet
Quote:I agree. The visits have dropped. and the fees are still here. Not to mention I am paying someone for the design of logos, background, etc so there's that plus 10 for the first month, have had 3 sales, 1 was from a fellow popper, other a new comer. I didn't even know we couldn't advertise on craigslist anymore and was going to in the future, but if the sales keep dropping and noone visits, what's the point of investing in inventory. I have spent hundreds, and more hundreds this month on incoming items. WP, if you can't improve, I'll have to list my items where they are free because all those listings on another site I was planning to move over here, they show up in the google search just fine. Some of my items here, don't, and I'm paying for advertisement that isn't working. I'll hang with it longer of course but if it doesn't pick up, I'll have to close my store, before I lose more money, it's not cost effective to put hundreds in to only get a fraction out.

Rays not going to like this one for sure. Edited to add They might as well pack up and move their listings now because that's not going to happen |

Ray must be tightening his bathrobe, and taking a few shots of tequila just to keep from going "DELETE, DELETE, DELETE"

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
It's statements like these that really get me....
Quote:Well, I'm sure Wagglepop is in much the same boat as most of the alternative auction sites - trying to attract traffic to their site and not having a massive advertising budget to do it. There's no doubt that it's a slow process, which is why I committed myself to a 2 year trial before I consider moving on. Ummm...there are several alternative sites out there doing a pretty good job of attracting traffic. What happened to the $75,000? That would have bought a lot of Adwords. Why would anyone commit themselves for two years to a site where traffic and sales are going backwards instead of getting better? Especially after all that Grand Opening brouhaha. :blinkie:
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
