Quote:The biggest thing that would help get the traffic here would be a Google Adwords campaign that targets the main keywords for every category that has listings. Hello McFly. Ding, Ding, Ding. Wait a minute reread that post from CC1, the big long one. Quote below: Quote:We are ready and willing to build whatever features and functions that membership demands, but we are at the point now where the site must begin supporting itself in that regard in terms of overall revenues, with increased participation. Upper management cannot continue to issue "blank checks" for monthly cost overages and new features and functionalites. Sounds like they have NO money left if you ask me. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Somebody explain this reasoning to me....
Quote:If I have to list on the E to make some money to pay my wagglepop fees, I do, but it also gives me the opportunity to waggelpop them to death on every paper I send out, every package I mail and every follow up postcard I send. I wonder if their repeat customer ratio has dropped since they've been wagglepoping them to death? It would if I was their customer.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:One of the things we never, ever anticipated was that the $9.95 could possibly be consiered anything less than an incredible opportunity and almost sublimely affordable. We anticipated thousands of sellers to this point, but that has not come to pass. There seems to be a kind of "eBay-think" that many sellers have only operated under to this point that is very difficult to overcome. This statement says it all. Ray was wrong, completely wrong in fact. Assumption is the mother of all ****up's. His plan scam has failed and with the lack of new sellers coming in, there is a lack of money coming in to support Ray so any & all new promised programs are on hold even though they are all part of the boxed software (rscript). There is no new coding required to install these new features , all Ray needs to do is turn them on. By the way expect Ray to go back to eBay as a seller in the near future. He is still a buyer there on at least 1 account. If you want the eBay user ID he is using PM me I will provide it. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |

The $75,000 advertising budget just got mentioned...
Quote:Wagglepop could divert part of their $75,000 advertising budget into a Google Adwords campaign targeting keywords in all of the categories which have listings...then the sellers could do some SEO optimization by loading their item titles and meta tags with keywords. Wonder what KaRay's response to that will be. :blinkie:

Wonder what KaRay's response to that will be. :blinkie: [/quote] This popper has a good idea but this will never happen like Truth said it sounds like they have no money or at least they seem to be complaining about it. I doubt they have any where near $75,000. I wonder if they even spent $75 on the grand opening Here is the latest response to the thread Quote:This is an interesting thread. Good luck to this popper on getting a straight answer to her question. It does seem like Ray is crying about money. Making statements like maybe we made the site too affordable and due to lack of participation they can not implement certain things yet and the site must now begin supporting itself. Lack of participation is no ones fault but Rays. He did a good job driving sellers away by not doing things that he could have done sooner and being too heavy with the delete key. |
