Oh Geez !! Here I am just a couple of hours from NY, and you guys are having a meeting party on a Saturday. Wish I could be there ! Since the store is only open on weekends, it's nearly impossible for me to sneak away.
BTW, Thanks all for your comps on the progress of the website. Does anyone know if I can just delete that line of html code from the home page. I know where it is, just don't know if it's safe to delete it? Or how to make it go away? Otherwise, I think everything else is set up.

Poopland is a hamlet of Scam-Artistville. Ray and WP is the main attraction of the theme park. Wouldn't it be nice to send Ray some mail with the postal stamp from the WP post office? The possibilities are endless. Maybe we could all attend an internet cafe in NYC and register new accounts with the payphone there.

You guys are too much.

I am hoping to join in on the gathering. Long Island is about 4 hours away from me (and I used to live in Hampton Bays too!! Further out on the Island - where the rich and famous come to vacation). Now I live about 20 minutes away from Albany ...

I am so hoping to make it!!!

Oh and OT had another sale on eCrater and I had a customer leave me feedback . For those who haven't I really suggest opening an eCrater store. I've been opened for a month now and I have 8 sales under my belt .

Full-time sellers should seriously consider setting up a an independent store as the hub of their business and use venues as additional sales channels and marketing.

I think we all intuitively agree. It is the optimal configuration: using venues as a means of feeding your site. But until River, Amy, BBH, or any of you other techie geniuses come up with "Web Site in a Box", where you add water and "poof," I and a few others here, are pretty much stuck in the venue-hopping rut.   Ecrater was the next best solution I could come up with, and for me, setting up something as rudimentary and limited as that wasn't easy.  I hope I can get some business from it, or I've wasted even more time. I can't even figure how to do RSS or create a spreadsheet to feed to MSN. Sounds like I'm a whiner, but unlike Ray, I know my talents and limitations and deal with them in the real world.

Hope you group of party-goers have a great time in Poopland. Maybe you can rummage through Ray's garbage for worn out delete keys and Koolaid-stained fuzzy slippers to sell for tons of cash on eBay. I would really LOVE to join everybody, but will be having relatives from Sweden visiting during that time. I'll be with you all in spirit. I'd love for someone to take a pic of the perpetual storm system that hovers over Ray's house, though.

Edit: Congrats, Patti, on your eCrater sales. That gives me a smidgeon of hope.
